Coincidence Factors for Domestic EV Charging From Driving and Plug-In Behavior

چکیده
This study models the coincidence factor (CF) of electric vehicle (EV) charging given driving and plug-in behaviors by combining data sources from travel surveys recorded EV data. From these, we generate using a Monte Carlo approach to derive CFs. By varying battery size, rated power, behavior, their influence on CF is examined. The key results show that decreases less than 25% when considering more 50 EVs with level 11 kW, strongly depending number considered. contrast, behavior size have minor CF. Furthermore, mixing parameters, such as then, especially, active power drawn feeder does not change linearly. Ultimately, aims add state-of-the-art solely systematically focusing its sensitivity factors. For planning design, distribution system operators may use this part for integration vehicles in electrical grid.

Smart Charging of plug-in Vehicles under Driving Behavior Uncertainty
An upcoming introduction of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and electric vehicles could put power systems’ infrastructure under strain in the absence of charging control. The charging of electric vehicles could be managed centrally by a socalled aggregator, which would take advantage of the flexibility of these loads. To determine optimal charging profiles day-ahead, the aggregator needs infor...

With the perspective of a future widespread penetration of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) imminent challenges arise. Since an uncontrolled way of vehicle charging might impose additional system strain by adding up on existing peak-demands, there exists the necessity to find a charging management procedure, which is beneficial in terms of grid operation and cost. In this thesis a centralized c...
متن کاملCongestion Games for V2G-Enabled EV Charging
A model of the problem of charging and discharging electrical vehicles as a congestion game is presented. A generalization of congestion games – feedback congestion games (FCG) – is introduced. The charging of gridintegrated vehicles, which can also discharge energy back to the grid, is a natural FCG application. FCGs are proven to be exact potential games and therefore converge to a pure-strat...

We consider the functional and security requirements for the information exchanges in the infrastructure for EV charging being trialled in the Netherlands, which includes support for congestion management using the smart charging protocol OSCP. We note that current solutions do not provide true end-to-end security, even if all communication links are secured (for instance with TLS), as some dat...
